Hedgehogs Home Learning Friday 8th May 2020

Good morning Hedgehogs

All of your activities for today are below. It is officially a ‘bank holiday’ to celebrate VE Day so please pick and choose which tasks you’d like to do today as they are all optional. You can always come back to them another day.

If you would like to show your child a video to explain what VE Day is remembering, BBC Newsround is a really good website to use as it tells children about world news at an appropriate level. https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround.

Sophia has been getting ready for VE Day. Here she is getting ready for a special VE Day tea party with her teddies.

Mrs Hollis has  put together some activities all about VE Day that you can choose from today and over the weekend too. These can be found in a separate school news post.

Lots of families are having a VE Day picnic today in their garden, so if you are one of them then I hope you have a lovely day!

Fine Motor Skills

Can you put little drops of water in the holes on the top of Lego or Duplo?! You can use an eye drop dropper or a cooking pipette if you have one. Or you can dip your finger in to a cup of water and see if you can aim the droplet that forms on the end of your finger in the hole.
