Easter Bingo!
The Friends would like to thank all those who attended and supported the Easter Bingo last Friday, a really fun evening was had by all! Thank you also to Colin Case our fab bingo caller and all the helpers who made the evening what it was. We are pleased to announce that the event made £314.55 profit. Very special thanks goes to Mr & Mrs Mckenzie who have very kindly matched that, taking the total to a fantastic £629.10! Many thanks to everybody involved and we look forward to seeing you at the next event – Fun Fest on 14 July.
Letters – Wednesday 28th March 2018
We are sending out letters regarding Swimming today; the return at the bottom of the letter MUST BE RETURNED, along with the consent form, no later than Monday 16th April 2018 (first day back after Easter) – first session for Dragonfly Class & Hedgehog Class will be 23rd April 2018. All dates are on the website. Parent Afternoon/Evening appointment times are also being sent home this afternoon.
Nursery Music Activities
Shropshire Music Service will be coming into Nursery every Wednesday morning from 9.15am until 10.15am, for 5 weeks, starting on the 18th April 2018. This is a Government funded programme of songs, activities, games and instrumental play, specifically aimed at Nursery aged children. It also includes training for staff in this area of the Early Years Foundation Stage. This will be a most enjoyable experience for the children, giving them the opportunity to try out various instruments and learn new songs. We are really looking forward to it.
Experiencing Easter – 27th March 2018
Pupils in Rabbit, Dragonfly and Owl Classes will be walking up to the Church on Tuesday to take part in ‘Experiencing Easter’ – Year 5s in Dragonfly Class along with all of Owls will be going in the morning and in the afternoon, Rabbits plus the Year 4 pupils in Dragonfly Class will be taking part. Could we ask that all pupils bring in to school a small pebble (no later than Tuesday morning, please). If you would like any further information regarding this visit, please speak with your child’s class teacher. If anyone is available to walk to and from the Church (in the morning, afternoon or both) could you please contact the School Office. Many thanks.
Parent Afternoon/Evening – Tuesday 17th April 2018
Letters regarding Parents’ afternoon/evening are being sent home today (Wednesday 21st March). Appointments are being run for Nursery, Hedgehog, Rabbit & Dragonfly Classes and we would be really grateful if you would complete the reply slip and return it to school no later than this Friday (23rd March).
