We had great fun in the snow this week!
It looks like they’re having the best time and the concert hasn’t even begun..! Best of luck to all our Young Voices children tonight!
A great first full week back for all classes this week – the new topics are well underway in each class and we’re well and truly back in the swing of learning. A number of KS2 children are finishing off their week in style today too as they party away at Young Voices in Birmingham! What a fun way to spend a Friday night 🥳
Here are this week’s award winners:
Acorns (Stars of the Week in each class):
A huge well done to all these children for setting shining examples in their classes every  day this week.
Raffle Ticket Winners (one raffle ticket winner per class raffle):
* Acorn Winner Magnus chose a prize for the winner in his class, Percy!
Dance Medals
A huge congratulations to Lexie and Aoife who have recently achieved these medals for the dance group they are in. Thank your for sharing, we were all very proud of you, keep it up both of you!
Super Swimmer
Aoife hasn’t just been using her moves for dancing, but for swimming too! Aoife has earned her next level swimming award for working on her 5 metres head first sculling action. Keep going Aoife, that’s brilliant!
Finally, we send our happy birthday wishes to Betsy and Seren this weekend 🤗
In Computing this term we will be looking at robots and how we make them move. Today we learnt about commands and what outcome a command has on a device. We had lots of fun trying to make our robots move in the direction we wanted them to!
We have had a lovely first week back in Rabbit class. I think we were all ready for the weekend though!
I hope you all received your paper copy of our topic overview for this term earlier this week. You can also find an electronic copy of our overview in the Rabbits class page on the website. Hello Rabbits Class, I hope you’ve had a brilliant Christmas and that you are ready and raring to come back to school. I can’t wait to hear about all the things you got up to in the Christmas holidays.
Our topic this term is ‘Amazing Africa’. Click on the link below to find out about all the things we will be learning about this term.
Rabbits Class Topic Overview Spring 2023
Here is our timetable for the Spring term. We will have PE on Tuesdays and Thursdays so please come to school in PE kit on those days. Year 1s you will be going to Forest School on a Tuesday afternoon so will need to come to school in your Forest School clothes.
We had an absolute BALL on Tuesday (13th December) as Shropshire Music Service Band visited and performed for the whole school! They played a string of hits: Sweet Caroline, We Will Rock You and Eye of the Tiger to name a few (the staff enjoyed it as much as the children!) They also taught us about each of the instruments they were playing. We had a great time!
Rabbits must have all been very good this year because we all got to meet Father Christmas AND he gave us a present. What a magical afternoon!
