Year 2 and 3 Christmas Spellings and homework due in Tuesday 8th January 2019.

For Rabbit class spellings over the Christmas Holidays they have chosen 8 spellings that they need to practice themselves and will be tested on a selection of them the first Tuesday 8th January back.

If over the holidays the children would like to write about one of their favourite moments in the holidays in relation to Christmas Day or a trip out or something they really enjoyed doing they may do so in their homework books to share within the first week back.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and A Happy New Year- with plenty of rest ready for Spring Term!!

Many Thanks, Miss Morris

Homework due in 18th December.

Thank you for all of those who had a go at designing and constructing a fantastic range of bridges and aqueducts! The children have done a brilliant job and it has been great to look at their constructions in class- Thank you!

Homework for this week is Science based as we are finishing off our unit of Animal including Humans and activities have been set up for the children to complete on Education city.

Any Problems please feel free to ask,

Thanks, Miss Morris

Rabbit Class homework due in Monday 10th December

Homework for the next fortnight is based on our Thomas Telford Topic and continues the learning from our great trip to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct!

The children can have a go at designing their own bridge structure or aqueduct and using their design can construct it from whatever materials you have at home!

They may want to make it out of Lego blocks and take a picture to stick in their homework books with a description of how it was made or if you are feeling more adventurous you may want to make a bridge out of wood or cardboard and other materials to bring into class or take a picture of!

Any problems please feel free to ask,

Thanks Miss Morris.

Anti Bullying Week Homework 13th- 20th November.

Homework this week is linking to the  Anti-Bullying week for 2018, thinking about respect and what makes good friends.

I have attached both the worksheets that will be given out. The children need to think about five things/ values that would make a good friend. The children can then create a comic strip of a friendship story where they may want to show good friends or a bullying incident that happens and someone helping out.

Any problems please feel free to ask, Thanks Miss Morris

Half Term Homework

Homework for over the half term is focusing on Road Safety and the local ’20 is plenty’ campaign. The children are asked to design and create a road safety poster to advertise this or can do some written research into the topic of road safety and why 20 is plenty in our local area.

The children can complete this in their homework books or on separate paper to which ever suits.

I Hope you have an enjoyable half term and make the most of the break!

Any questions please feel free to ask,

Thanks, Miss Morris.
