STEM session with Mr Moore and Mr Lewis from The Corbet School.

Today Owl class had a fantastic session with two teachers from The Corbet School DT department. Mr Moore and Mr Lewis came in to show the class a small sample of some of the projects that pupils in their classes have produced. They also set a challenge for us: to move water from 0.5m above the ground down to ground level only using the equipment given. The class thought very creatively and made some ingenious solutions. Well done Owls; 100% success!

Football friendly with Baschurch

On Monday we played host to a football friendly with Bascurch. The girls and boys teams took to the pitch for a 30 minute game. Baschurch won the boys 4-0 whilst the girls had goals aplenty in a 6-5 Baschurch win.

A special thank you to Mr Gittins who raked and cut the pitches to a high standard. Also to Nicky and Paula for their help with refreshments. Well done to all- we look forward to the next round.
