Well done to our Year 6 pupil Henry for initiating a fundraiser for ‘Team Trees’, a cause which hopes to see a million trees planted! Henry heard about the project and was inspired to do something to help.
By requesting ‘spare change’ and delivering a PowerPoint to the whole school, Henry has managed to raise a fantastic £32.14 with his helpers. Well done to the children for carrying out their own fundraising project, we’re very proud of you!
What a show! A huge well done to our KS2 children for a fantastic performance of this year’s Christmas production ‘Cinderella Rockerfella’. They danced, sang, acted with energy and even improvised throughout – we couldn’t be prouder of you . Thank you to all our school families for supporting us in putting the production together.
Next event: Christingle, Tuesday 17th.
We baked…. we dressed up… we made masks…. and we had GREAT FUN raising lots of money for a brilliant cause: Children in Need!
Fun & Games Cluncil planned the events, ran the bake sale and mask competition. The total amount of money flabbergasted us all! Well done to all the children who got involved – a brilliant effort all round.
Dragonflies had great fun being particles this afternoon! We explored the differences between solids, liquids and gases in science.
Well done to Abbie and Eva who attended the Friends car boot sale on Sunday to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. They raised a brilliant £17.27 and worked towards achieving their charity badge for Brownies.
Thank you to everyone who supported our annual Sports Day today; we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! Congratulations to all the children for putting on such a brilliant show of sport and a special well done to our winners: Coton Blue!
More photos to follow….
Our sports teams finished on a fantastic high today at a local tournament hosted by Baschurch and joined by Bicton and Myddle primary schools. Our girls team won 2nd place with Bicton just leading the table, whilst our boys went on to win the tournament!
A huge thank you to Mr McGrath and Mr Hughes for organising; what a great way to end our football year. I couldn’t be any prouder of our children, thank you for such a brilliant effort – Miss Whit 🙂
