Morning all,
A quick thank you to Torin & his mum who notified me that they couldn’t find the classwork yesterday – I’m not sure if it was the same for everyone, apologies if so, but once they’d given me a quick heads up their problem was sorted. Please do give us a shout if there are any issues! We had a busy day in school yesterday – it was lovely to see all the teachers and TAs and talk about all of YOU! We very much look forward to your laughter and voices filling the classrooms again. Mrs O says a huge ‘hello’ to each of you too! (She has curly hair and looked very glam!)
Here are your learning activities for today:
- Reading: Bitesize had a great activity on the last day of last half term… I know some of you have even been getting the books to continue reading once you’ve completed these tasks! Have a go yourself by following the links:
2. Spellings: Access the link below for your year group and learn the set list. You could print the handwriting sheet OR present it in your Homework Pack.
3. Maths:
White Rose Maths activities can be found below. I suggest you look at the activity sheets first and think about what you already know. Then watch the video which will help you with your understanding. Finally, complete the sheet then mark it but try and work out where any mistakes you made came from using the asnwers.

- Geography:
Check out the Geography learning on Bitesize today which is all about weather and climate. This is particularly significant at the moment as we are experiencing such hot, dry weather – I believe May was the driest since 1896! It’s causing a huge amount of difficulties for farmers too; the crops aren’t growing and the soil is desperately dry. As a task, could you present a weather video to teach your viewers what the weather has been like, the current situation and maybe even forecast what it’s going to be like this week? Good luck! (I always wanted to be a weather presenter when I was little!)
